Lake Ticino, 2018
What I like about this image is the expectant theatricality, the tethered(a trick) curtains open, and there's not a helluva lot of actual subject matter.
The reflections and structure of the work, however, play havoc with the sense of space in the photograph and the viewer is left with a curious feeling of having been duped(maybe).
The two shallow dips of wires in the forest cast a line to the wire bottom right of frame to lace the conundrum up(in a way).
